Unique Experiences

Punda Beach

The sandy beach is located on the west part of the island, right opposite Antiparos island and it is fully organized with kite schools, beach bars and many more facilities. It is one of the most popular beaches on the island and attracts the water sports enthusiasts, as well as the party goers.

The sea is crystal clear with shallow waters and sandy bottom, while the steady side shore winds come from North, Northwest, range from 12 to 27 knots/22 to 50 kph and blow all day long. You can kite board on Punda Beach all year round, but the best season is certainly during summer, when the weather and the sea temperature are warm and you don’t need to wear a wet suit. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this incredibly vibrant beach, if you want to discover what summer on a Greek island is all about!!!

Paros Butterfly Park

7 km west from Parikia , near the Monastery of Christos sto Dasos (or Agios Arsenios), there is a place well known as the Valley of the Butterflies or “Petaloudes” (from a Greek translation), an idyllic landscape of dense vegetation and abundant spring water, a unique monument of natural beauty. The butterflies reserve on the island of Paros is considered one of the main attractions of the island for the past 30 years.

During the summer months, swarms of butterflies by the name of “Panaxia Quadripunctaria” or “Jersey Tiger Moth” settle on this small oasis. They choose this place to spend the last phase of their life. Resting on the leaves, they can be observed by the guests in their natural habitat. If you are lucky, you might catch them fly, which reveals the underside of their wings, a vivid red which contrasts with the blackness of the rest of them. The butterflies have chosen this place for at least 100 years, making it distinctive. We opened the place to the public in the 70’s so visitors could observe and enjoy the nature at its true form.

Agia Irini

The small beach of Agia Irini is located a few kilometres south of Parikia and is boarded with beautiful palm trees, giving to the place a tropical atmosphere. A lovely church of the same name stands right on the beachfront. This is a dreamy site but it can get crowded sometimes for it is really small.
